Foxconn India Employs Over 80% Women

In a significant development, Foxconn, a key manufacturer for iPhones, has reported that over 80% of its workforce in India comprises women. This reflects a global trend of increasing female participation in the workforce, with India showing particularly rapid growth. Apple, the parent company, also aims to boost its female employee numbers, with women currently making up 35% of its global workforce of 1.66 lakh employees.
