Russian President Vladimir Putin stated Russia has no plans to attack European countries but will respond to aggression with all its weapons. This follows Moscow's warning to NATO that it would use nuclear weapons to defend Kaliningrad if the alliance attempted to cut off the Baltic exclave. Kaliningrad, a heavily militarised Russian exclave between Poland and Lithuania, hosts major military infrastructure, including the Baltic Fleet and missile systems.
