Designer Aneeth Arora's label Pero launched Lakme Fashion Week with a Spring/Summer 2027 collection inspired by 1980s nostalgia and the iconic Barbie doll. The "Dream Dress-Up" collection, a global collaboration with Barbie, featured vibrant prints, relaxed silhouettes, and prominent use of pink, challenging traditional dressing norms. Arora stated Barbie's spirit of imagination aligns with Pero's design philosophy, aiming to merge craft and play. The show included first-time runway models, adding to the inclusive and imaginative atmosphere.
