India is developing a Unified Payments Interface (UPI) feature that will enable offline transactions up to Rs 2,000. This new capability will allow users to make payments at merchant terminals even without an internet connection. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is reportedly working on this innovation, which could significantly enhance payment accessibility, especially for services like flights and underground trains.

भारत एक ऐसा यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (UPI) फीचर बना रहा है जिससे 2,000 रुपये तक के ऑफलाइन ट्रांजैक्शन हो सकेंगे। इस नई सुविधा से लोग बिना इंटरनेट के भी मर्चेंट टर्मिनल पर पेमेंट कर पाएंगे। नेशनल पेमेंट्स कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (NPCI) इस पर काम कर रहा है। इससे पेमेंट करना आसान हो जाएगा, खासकर फ्लाइट और अंडरग्राउंड ट्रेन जैसी सेवाओं के लिए।
