Goa Man Held For Raping Minor, Forcing Conversion

Goa police have arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly stalking and raping a 16-year-old girl. The accused is also charged with attempting to convert the minor to Islam after she became pregnant. He allegedly threatened to circulate her compromising photos and took her to Solapur and Hospet before her rescue. The survivor stated he forced her to abandon Hindu practices and adopt Islamic customs, even burning pictures of Hindu deities. Police added rape and Pocso charges after her statement and medical examination.
