Robbers broke into a Kolkata couple's home, stealing cash, jewellery, and liquor worth Rs 9 lakh. The incident occurred hours after the homemaker posted on social media about a Rs 5-lakh necklace gifted to her. Although the necklace was not taken, the burglars vandalized the house and disabled CCTV cameras. Police suspect the family was targeted due to the social media posts and are advising caution when sharing personal information online. This is the third such incident in the locality since 2025.
