Fraudster Held At Pune Airport With Fake IDs

Pune airport authorities apprehended a man on Wednesday for allegedly defrauding passengers. The suspect approached a passenger arriving from Hyderabad, seeking ₹20,000 and receiving ₹11,000 via Google Pay. CISF personnel intercepted him, discovering he possessed documents with three different identities. He was also linked to a similar fraud on September 1, where a passenger lost ₹18,600. The suspect confessed to the earlier incident and was handed over to Vimantal police.
