UAE is one of Russia's closest partners

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the United Arab Emirates has become one of Russia's closest partners in the region. Speaking on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in New Delhi, Putin noted that diplomatic relations between the two countries will mark their 55th anniversary this December. He highlighted the successful development of economic ties, with trade reaching substantial levels and continuing to grow.
