The Delhi High Court has asked the city police to submit a status report regarding civil rights activist Mohammad Wasiq Nadeem Khan's allegations of illegal detention. Khan claims he was confined at his residence to prevent him from attending a protest at Jantar Mantar on September 29. He also alleged constant surveillance and police phone calls. The court questioned the police's conduct, acknowledging their right to deny protest permissions but questioning the methods used.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने शहर की पुलिस से नागरिक अधिकार कार्यकर्ता मोहम्मद वासिक नदीम खान द्वारा अवैध हिरासत के आरोपों के संबंध में एक स्थिति रिपोर्ट जमा करने को कहा है। खान का दावा है कि 29 सितंबर को जंतर मंतर में एक विरोध प्रदर्शन में शामिल होने से रोकने के लिए उन्हें उनके आवास पर नजरबंद रखा गया था। उन्होंने लगातार निगरानी और पुलिस के फोन कॉल का भी आरोप लगाया। अदालत ने पुलिस के आचरण पर सवाल उठाया, विरोध प्रदर्शन की अनुमति से इनकार करने के उनके अधिकार को स्वीकार किया लेकिन इस्तेमाल किए गए तरीकों पर सवाल उठाया।
