Jharkhand Mother-Daughter Duo Murdered Over Land Dispute; Bodies Burnt and Buried

In Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, a mother and daughter were murdered over a land dispute concerning a farm boundary. The accused, who are neighbors, allegedly burnt their bodies and buried the remains in a cave. The victims, Kuni Kui Birua and her daughter Namsi Birua, had been missing for about 15 days. Police investigation, based on technical aspects and human intelligence, led to the arrest of seven individuals. The motive appears to be land encroachment following a dispute over cutting a farm boundary three months prior.

झारखंड के पश्चिम सिंहभूम जिले में ज़मीन विवाद के चलते एक माँ और बेटी की हत्या कर दी गई। यह विवाद खेत की मेड़ को लेकर था। पड़ोसियों पर आरोप है कि उन्होंने शवों को जला दिया और फिर गुफा में दफना दिया। पीड़ित कुनी कुई बिरुआ और उनकी बेटी नमसी बिरुआ करीब 15 दिनों से लापता थीं। पुलिस ने तकनीकी पहलुओं और मानवीय जानकारी के आधार पर जांच की और सात लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया। तीन महीने पहले खेत की मेड़ काटने को लेकर हुए विवाद के बाद ज़मीन पर कब्ज़ा करने का इरादा हत्या का मकसद लगता है।
