Actress Banita Sandhu has been cast as a British-born Indian environmentalist in Akshay Kumar's upcoming sci-fi action-survival thriller, titled ‘Samuk’. Directed by Kanishk Varma and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film also features Rukmini Maitra, Viineet Kumar Siingh, Rajat Kapoor, Swanand Kirkire, and Sushant Singh. Sandhu's character is expected to play a crucial role in the film's plot, which is currently being kept under wraps by the filmmakers.
