Lovely Professional University's campus bore visible scars of arson, looting, and vandalism on Monday. This destruction followed unverified reports of an alleged rape, leading masked protesters to go on a rampage. University authorities have begun a clean-up, with workers repairing damage and sweepers clearing broken glass. The computer sciences department showed signs of arson, and a commercial complex was looted. The Pro-Chancellor urged students to verify rumours with authorities instead of resorting to violence.
