28-Year-Old Man Gets Life Sentence For Abducting, Raping 5-Year-Old Girl

A special Pocso court in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit has sentenced a 28-year-old man to life imprisonment for the abduction and rape of a five-year-old girl. The court ordered the convict to remain in prison for the remainder of his natural life due to the severity of the crime. The incident occurred when the child was returning alone from a grocery shop and was forcibly taken away and assaulted. The court also imposed a Rs 50,000 fine on the convict, to be provided to the victim's parents for her welfare.

उत्तर प्रदेश के पीलीभीत में एक विशेष Pocso कोर्ट ने 28 साल के एक शख्स को पांच साल की बच्ची के अपहरण और बलात्कार के आरोप में उम्रकैद की सज़ा सुनाई है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि अपराध की गंभीरता को देखते हुए दोषी को बाकी की प्राकृतिक ज़िंदगी जेल में ही बितानी होगी। यह घटना तब हुई थी जब बच्ची किराने की दुकान से अकेली लौट रही थी और उसे जबरन उठाकर ले जाया गया और उसके साथ गलत काम किया गया। कोर्ट ने दोषी पर 50,000 रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया है, जो पीड़ित के माता-पिता को उसकी भलाई के लिए दिया जाएगा।
