A 44-year-old Salvadoran national was rescued after spending 20 hours in the Ionian Sea after going overboard from a Royal Caribbean ship. The woman was found clinging to a lifebuoy near the island of Zakynthos by the cargo ship MSC Rossella III, which alerted authorities. She reportedly told the Hellenic Coast Guard she jumped because she wanted to disembark. Following her rescue, she was taken to a local hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
