The Air Force Sports Complex in New Delhi has been closed indefinitely, cancelling the traditional farewell golf ceremony for outgoing Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh. The facility, located on prime land on Lok Kalyan Marg, was shut on Wednesday after the Land and Development Office issued notices for its handover. The 30-plus-acre complex includes a clubhouse, swimming pool, gymnasium, and a training centre for Agniveer Vayu recruits. While some veterans expressed concern, others supported the government's move to reclaim the valuable land in the capital.
