Gurugram Faces Power Cuts and Water Shortage Due to Employee Strike

A three-day strike by Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) employees has caused widespread power outages in Gurugram, Faridabad, and Nuh, severely impacting water supply and daily routines. Over 3,000 complaints of outages were registered within the first 12 hours of the strike, which began on Wednesday. The employees are protesting the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission's decision to grant a parallel electricity distribution license to a private company for Gurugram and Nuh districts. This disruption has led to protests by residents and significant operational challenges for industries.

दक्षिण हरियाणा बिजली वितरण निगम (DHBVN) के कर्मचारियों की तीन दिवसीय हड़ताल के कारण गुरुग्राम, फरीदाबाद और नूंह में बड़े पैमाने पर बिजली कटौती हुई है, जिससे पानी की आपूर्ति और दैनिक दिनचर्या बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुई है। हड़ताल के पहले 12 घंटों के भीतर ही बिजली कटौती की 3,000 से अधिक शिकायतें दर्ज की गईं, जो बुधवार को शुरू हुई थी। कर्मचारी हरियाणा विद्युत विनियामक आयोग के गुरुग्राम और नूंह जिलों के लिए एक निजी कंपनी को समानांतर बिजली वितरण लाइसेंस देने के फैसले का विरोध कर रहे हैं। इस व्यवधान के कारण निवासियों ने विरोध प्रदर्शन किया है और उद्योगों को महत्वपूर्ण परिचालन चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
