Karnataka MLA Expelled by BJP Faces FIR For Creating Fake Voter Death Certificates

Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has been booked by police for allegedly creating false death certificates of voters. This was done to remove their names from the electoral rolls in the Vijayapura Assembly constituency. A vegetable vendor, Abdul Razak Bagwan, filed the complaint, alleging Yatnal falsely declared him dead to strike his name off the voter list. The FIR states that Yatnal obtained fake death certificates for at least seven other individuals as part of a conspiracy to delete their names from the voter list.

विजयपुरा के विधायक बसनागौडा पाटिल यत्नल के खिलाफ पुलिस ने मतदाताओं के फर्जी मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र बनाने के आरोप में मामला दर्ज किया है। यह काम विजयपुरा विधानसभा क्षेत्र में मतदाताओं के नाम चुनावी सूची से हटाने के लिए किया गया था। एक सब्जी विक्रेता, अब्दुल रज़ाक बागवान ने शिकायत दर्ज कराई, जिसमें आरोप लगाया गया कि यत्नल ने उनका नाम मतदाता सूची से हटाने के लिए उन्हें झूठा मृत घोषित कर दिया। FIR में कहा गया है कि यत्नल ने मतदाता सूची से उनके नाम हटाने की साजिश के तहत कम से कम सात अन्य व्यक्तियों के लिए फर्जी मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त किए।
