Apple Pay Launched in India, Offering Contactless Payments via iPhone and Apple Watch

Apple has officially launched its Apple Pay service in India, allowing users of eligible iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches to make payments. Users can add their supported cards to Apple Wallet for secure transactions in stores, apps, and on websites. This service enables contactless payments by holding the device near an NFC-enabled terminal, eliminating the need to carry physical cards. Initially, only Axis Bank Visa and Mastercard credit cards are supported, with plans to expand bank and card compatibility in the future.

एप्पल ने भारत में अपनी एप्पल पे सर्विस को आधिकारिक तौर पर लॉन्च कर दिया है। इससे एलिजिबल आईफोन, आईपैड और एप्पल वॉच यूज़र्स पेमेंट कर सकेंगे। यूज़र्स अपने सपोर्टेड कार्ड्स को एप्पल वॉलेट में ऐड करके स्टोर्स, ऐप्स और वेबसाइट्स पर सुरक्षित ट्रांजैक्शन कर सकते हैं। यह सर्विस NFC-इनेबल्ड टर्मिनल के पास डिवाइस को होल्ड करके कॉन्टैक्टलेस पेमेंट की सुविधा देती है, जिससे फिजिकल कार्ड्स साथ रखने की ज़रूरत खत्म हो जाती है। शुरुआत में, केवल Axis Bank Visa और Mastercard क्रेडिट कार्ड्स सपोर्टेड हैं, लेकिन भविष्य में बैंक और कार्ड कम्पैटिबिलिटी बढ़ाने की योजना है।
