Bengaluru Police Repair Whitefield Roads After Gridlock

Following severe traffic congestion in Bengaluru's Gunjur-Varthur area, the Whitefield traffic police, in collaboration with local residents, have undertaken temporary road repairs. The gridlock on Thursday caused hundreds of schoolchildren to be stranded in buses for over two hours. Civic and white-topping works on SH 35 and Gunjur Club Road were cited as primary causes for the disruption. Police are monitoring the situation and implementing diversions.

बेंगलुरु के गुंजुर-वर्थुर इलाके में भारी ट्रैफिक जाम के बाद, व्हाइटफील्ड ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने स्थानीय लोगों के साथ मिलकर सड़कों की अस्थायी मरम्मत की है। गुरुवार को लगे इस जाम की वजह से सैकड़ों स्कूली बच्चे दो घंटे से ज्यादा समय तक बसों में फंसे रहे। SH 35 और गुंजुर क्लब रोड पर चल रहे निर्माण कार्य को इस समस्या का मुख्य कारण बताया गया है। पुलिस स्थिति पर नज़र रखे हुए है और वैकल्पिक रास्ते बना रही है।
