AIG Hospitals and Boston Scientific have collaborated to establish a Centre of Excellence for minimally invasive gastrointestinal therapies. This initiative aims to expand advanced therapeutic endoscopy training for doctors nationwide through a three-year memorandum of understanding. The centre will focus on building clinical expertise and multidisciplinary skills, enabling specialised GI care beyond major metropolitan areas. It will offer structured education, hands-on practice, and mentorship, particularly benefiting physicians in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, and will also train endoscopy technicians and nursing professionals.
