Essex Cricketer Robin Das Charged With Rape

Essex cricketer Robin Das has been charged with two counts of rape following an incident in March 2024. The 24-year-old batsman, who has played first-class and List A games for the county, was arrested in August 2025 and charged in July 2026. He is scheduled to appear at Inner London Crown Court on October 9. Essex County Cricket Club confirmed a player is facing charges related to an incident outside club activities.
