उत्तर प्रदेश में सभी मतदान केन्द्रों पर विशेष वोटर रजिस्ट्रेशन कैंप लगाए गए ताकि वोटर लिस्ट में नाम जोड़ने की प्रक्रिया को आसान बनाया जा सके। बूथ लेवल ऑफिसर सुबह 10 बजे से शाम 4 बजे तक मौजूद रहे। मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी नवदीप रिणवा ने योग्य नागरिकों से आवेदन करने की अपील की, खासकर उन लोगों को जिन्हें स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन के दौरान छोड़ दिया गया था और पहली बार वोट देने वाले युवा मतदाताओं को प्राथमिकता दी गई। राज्य का लक्ष्य 16.17 करोड़ अनुमानित वयस्क आबादी और 13 करोड़ पंजीकृत मतदाताओं के बीच के अंतर को पाटना है, जिसमें महिला और युवा पंजीकरण बढ़ाने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया है।
