ADB, Japan Fund India's Green Ammonia Plant Project

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Japan have signed financing agreements with AM Green Ammonia (India) to build a large renewable-powered green ammonia plant. The project involves a $100 million loan from the Asia’s Private Infrastructure Fund 2, financed by JICA and administered by ADB. This initiative is the first under the ACCEL program, designed to help Asian countries manage energy prices and build resilient energy systems.
