Jaipur Councillor Stages Sit-In Protest Over Alleged Illegal Constructions

Jaipur Ward 138 Councillor Deepika Sharma staged a sit-in protest at the Hawa Mahal-Amer zone office on Monday, alleging official inaction against illegal constructions. She claims construction is ongoing at multiple sites, including areas near Ramkunj Marg and Gangapole Road, despite her written complaint filed on October 28. Sharma alleges that a Shiva temple and stepwell are being covered for construction, with idols removed and concrete slabs laid. The protest will continue until authorities issue notices to halt construction and provide written orders for sealing the structures.

जयपुर वार्ड 138 की पार्षद दीपिका शर्मा ने सोमवार को हवा महल-आमेर जोन कार्यालय में अवैध निर्माण के खिलाफ धरना दिया। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि अधिकारियों ने इस पर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की। शर्मा का कहना है कि 28 अक्टूबर को शिकायत दर्ज कराने के बावजूद रामकुंज मार्ग और गंगापोल रोड जैसे कई इलाकों में निर्माण चल रहा है। उन्होंने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि एक शिव मंदिर और बावड़ी को निर्माण के लिए ढका जा रहा है, मूर्तियों को हटा दिया गया है और कंक्रीट की स्लैब डाल दी गई हैं। यह विरोध तब तक जारी रहेगा जब तक अधिकारी निर्माण रोकने के लिए नोटिस जारी नहीं करते और ढांचों को सील करने के लिखित आदेश नहीं देते।
