An 18-month-old boy tragically lost his life after falling from a scooter in Derawal Nagar, North Delhi, on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred when the scooter, carrying the child on his mother's lap, was reportedly hit by a cargo vehicle. The impact caused the toddler to fall onto the road, sustaining severe head injuries. He was rushed to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Police have arrested the driver of the cargo vehicle and registered a case for rash driving and causing death by negligence.

सोमवार दोपहर को उत्तरी दिल्ली के डेरावाल नगर में एक स्कूटर से गिरने के बाद 18 महीने के एक बच्चे की दुखद मौत हो गई। यह घटना तब हुई जब बच्चे को उसकी माँ की गोद में बिठाकर ले जा रहे स्कूटर को कथित तौर पर एक मालवाहक वाहन ने टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर लगने से बच्चा सड़क पर गिर गया और उसके सिर में गंभीर चोटें आईं। उसे अस्पताल ले जाया गया लेकिन बाद में चोटों के कारण उसकी मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने मालवाहक वाहन के चालक को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है और लापरवाही से गाड़ी चलाने और लापरवाही से मौत का मामला दर्ज किया है।
