Noida Bus Fire Claims Lives, Heroism Emerges

A devastating fire on a private sleeper bus on the Yamuna Expressway near Jewar resulted in nine fatalities and 26 survivors. The bus, en route from Delhi to Mahoba, caught fire around 11:20 PM. Among the victims was Shashank Gupta, an IndiGo engineer who refused to abandon his mother, Sunita, as the flames spread. Passengers reported prior complaints about bus defects being ignored. The travel firm's manager has been arrested amid investigations into the cause and potential negligence.

यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे पर जेवर के पास एक निजी स्लीपर बस में भीषण आग लगने से नौ लोगों की मौत हो गई और 26 लोग बच गए। दिल्ली से महोबा जा रही बस में रात करीब 11:20 बजे आग लगी। मृतकों में IndiGo इंजीनियर शशांक गुप्ता भी थे, जिन्होंने आग फैलने पर अपनी माँ सुनीता को नहीं छोड़ा। यात्रियों ने पहले भी बस की खराबी की शिकायतों को नजरअंदाज करने की बात कही है। मामले की जांच चल रही है और ट्रैवल फर्म के मैनेजर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है।
