Iran-backed Houthi rebels reported Saudi airstrikes on Yemen's border regions, including Kamaran island and Qanawis, following intense Houthi attacks on the Saudi capital Riyadh. The clashes, ongoing since Saudi Arabia intervened in Yemen's civil war in 2015, have escalated recently. One Saturday attack in Riyadh killed 13 people, the deadliest in over a decade. Egypt's Foreign Minister condemned the Houthi attacks, calling them unjustified. The increased Houthi activity is linked to the US-Israeli war on Iran, impacting Saudi oil and transport infrastructure.
