Ranchi Garib Rath Express Cancelled Ahead of CJP Protest in Delhi

Times of India · india

The Ranchi-New Delhi Garib Rath Express, scheduled to depart on Friday, was cancelled by the Ranchi railway division of South Eastern Railway. The cancellation was cited due to potential traffic congestion in New Delhi, specifically around New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations, on Saturday. This disruption occurred ahead of a planned protest by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar. The CJP is advocating for the removal of CEC Gyanesh Kumar over electoral roll revisions.
