Nagpur Cyclist Dies Days After Bus Hatch Strikes His Neck

A 34-year-old VNIT graduate, Sarvesh Kashelikar, has died from injuries sustained on October 26 when the open luggage hatch of a private bus struck his neck. The impact threw him from his bicycle, causing breathing difficulties. Resuscitated initially at a hospital, his condition worsened, leading to his death on Monday. Police have registered a hit-and-run case and are searching for the bus and driver. This incident follows a similar fatal accident in Khaparkheda days prior.

34 वर्षीय VNIT स्नातक, सर्वेश काशेलिकर, की 26 अक्टूबर को एक निजी बस के खुले लगेज हैच से गर्दन पर चोट लगने से मौत हो गई है। इस टक्कर से वह अपनी साइकिल से गिर गए थे, जिससे उन्हें सांस लेने में दिक्कत हुई। अस्पताल में शुरू में उन्हें होश में लाया गया था, लेकिन उनकी हालत बिगड़ गई, जिससे सोमवार को उनकी मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने हिट-एंड-रन का मामला दर्ज कर लिया है और बस व चालक की तलाश कर रही है। यह घटना कुछ दिन पहले खपर्खेड़ा में हुई इसी तरह की एक घातक दुर्घटना के बाद हुई है।
