Gold Prices Fall 20% From Record High

India's gold rush saw record inflows into gold ETFs, reaching Rs 68,868 crore in FY26. However, gold prices have corrected significantly, falling about 21% from their record high of $5,595 an ounce. On the MCX, gold dropped from Rs 1,69,349 per 10 grams in March to around Rs 1,34,500 in July. This sharp fall serves as a stark reminder that even gold can incur short-term losses for investors who bought near the peak.

वित्तीय वर्ष 2026 में भारत में सोने में निवेश का रिकॉर्ड बना, गोल्ड ईटीएफ में 68,868 करोड़ रुपये आए। लेकिन, सोने के दाम काफी गिर गए हैं, जो अपने उच्चतम स्तर से करीब 21% नीचे आ गए हैं। मार्च में 10 ग्राम सोने का भाव 1,69,349 रुपये था, जो जुलाई तक घटकर लगभग 1,34,500 रुपये रह गया। यह गिरावट याद दिलाती है कि ऊंचे दाम पर खरीदने वाले निवेशकों को भी थोड़े समय के लिए नुकसान हो सकता है।
