The Delhi High Court has fined the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) one lakh rupees for pursuing a 32-year legal battle against a bus conductor. The court deemed the prolonged litigation an abuse of the legal system. The conductor sought 17 months of unpaid wages after his dismissal. DTC's challenge to a tribunal ruling was dismissed by the court, ending the protracted dispute.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने दिल्ली ट्रांसपोर्ट कॉर्पोरेशन (DTC) पर एक लाख रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया है। यह जुर्माना एक बस कंडक्टर के खिलाफ 32 साल से चल रहे कानूनी मामले के कारण लगाया गया है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि यह लंबी लड़ाई न्याय व्यवस्था का दुरुपयोग है। कंडक्टर को नौकरी से निकाले जाने के बाद 17 महीने का बकाया वेतन चाहिए था। कोर्ट ने ट्रिब्यूनल के फैसले के खिलाफ DTC की याचिका खारिज कर दी, जिससे यह लंबा विवाद खत्म हो गया।
