ICC Approves New Formats for World Cups

The ICC has approved major format changes for its men's tournaments, including a new three-stage format for the 2027 ODI World Cup before knockouts. The T20 World Cup will expand to twenty teams, featuring a Super 10 stage. A revised qualification pathway for the 2028 T20 World Cup was also greenlit. These changes aim to increase competitiveness and global participation in cricket's premier events.

आईसीसी ने पुरुष टूर्नामेंटों के लिए बड़े फॉर्मेट बदलावों को मंजूरी दे दी है। 2027 के वनडे वर्ल्ड कप में नॉकआउट से पहले तीन चरणों वाला नया फॉर्मेट होगा। टी20 वर्ल्ड कप में 20 टीमें होंगी और सुपर 10 स्टेज होगा। 2028 के टी20 वर्ल्ड कप के लिए क्वालिफिकेशन का नया रास्ता भी तय किया गया है। इन बदलावों से क्रिकेट के बड़े टूर्नामेंटों में प्रतिस्पर्धा और दुनिया भर की भागीदारी बढ़ेगी।
