CJP Leaders Detained Again For Attempting Protest At Jantar Mantar

Delhi Police have again taken CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka into custody. The leaders were attempting to proceed towards Jantar Mantar after breaking through barricades, along with other CJP workers. Police intervened as Jantar Mantar is no longer a designated protest site, with Section 163 of the Indian Penal Code prohibiting demonstrations there. The central government officially banned protests at Jantar Mantar, redirecting demonstrators to Burari Maidan, Ramlila Maidan, and CBD Ground. The detained CJP leaders were taken to Parliament Street police station.
