Graduates must develop future technologies and adapt to change while upholding human values, advised P. Nagabhushan, former director of IIIT Allahabad. Speaking at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering's graduation day, he stressed that degrees are insufficient for competent engineers and responsible citizens. Continuous learning, especially with AI advancements, is crucial. Nagabhushan encouraged graduates to remain authentic, avoid social masks, and use technology to enhance, not replace, independent thinking. He urged them to combine technical skills with creativity, compassion, and integrity for societal contribution.
