Kim Jong Un Appears Healthy After Death Rumours Surface Online

North Korean state media has released photos of Kim Jong Un looking healthy, appearing to quash recent rumours of his death. The images show the 42-year-old leader touring an exhibition with his daughter. These rumours originated from a Chinese dissident in the US who claimed, without evidence, that Kim had died from a brain haemorrhage and was secretly returned to North Korea. This is not the first time such speculation has arisen, as the secretive nature of the state makes verification difficult.
