A 17-year-old boy died by suicide at a female classmate's home in Faridabad on Thursday night, with police suspecting a one-sided love affair. The incident led to violence at the girl's house, resulting in injuries to two policemen and the arrest of nine of the boy's family members. The boy had previously assured school authorities and his parents he would not harass or stalk the girl. His family members later barged into the girl's home, alleging murder and attempting to make it look like a suicide.

फरीदाबाद में गुरुवार रात एक 17 साल के लड़के ने अपनी क्लास की लड़की के घर में खुदकुशी कर ली। पुलिस को एकतरफा प्यार का शक है। इस घटना के बाद लड़की के घर पर हिंसा हुई, जिसमें 2 पुलिसकर्मी घायल हो गए और लड़के के 9 परिवार वालों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। लड़के ने पहले स्कूल के अधिकारियों और अपने माता-पिता को भरोसा दिलाया था कि वह लड़की को परेशान या पीछा नहीं करेगा। बाद में उसके परिवार वाले लड़की के घर में घुस गए और हत्या का आरोप लगाते हुए इसे खुदकुशी दिखाने की कोशिश की।
