This comes as the report from IIT Kharagpur, initially tasked with identifying the causes of damage in August, is still awaited. The involvement of a second institute highlights the complexity of the inquiry, especially as original samples were taken during the monsoon. NHAI has initiated action against the concessionaire and officials, suspending toll collection until repairs are completed.
