A rare, 8-foot-long white python was spotted in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, during the final day of a religious procession. Local residents were surprised by its unusual color and alerted a snake rescuer. The rescue team safely captured the python, which is believed to be albino due to a lack of melanin pigment. While its white appearance suggests albinism, wildlife experts emphasize that official confirmation requires further examination. Authorities advise the public not to approach or attempt to capture snakes, but to contact trained rescue teams instead.
