Lucknow Man Duped Of ₹10 Lakh On Promise Of ₹4 Crore Startup Loan; Two Arrested

A 21-year-old man in Lucknow was allegedly defrauded of nearly ₹10 lakh by a consultancy promising a ₹4 crore startup loan. The firm, Udyam Setu Consultant Service, contacted the victim via Instagram in July 2026, promising easy loan approval. After the victim transferred the money, the loan did not materialise, and he was subsequently threatened with violence and false implication if he didn't pay more. Two accused, Sadik Hasnain and Shoaib Zafar, were arrested after the victim and his relatives detained them and alerted the police.

लखनऊ में एक 21 साल के युवक से एक कंसल्टेंसी ने ₹4 करोड़ के स्टार्टअप लोन का वादा करके करीब ₹10 लाख की ठगी की है। फर्म, Udyam Setu Consultant Service, ने जुलाई 2026 में इंस्टाग्राम के जरिए पीड़ित से संपर्क किया था और आसान लोन अप्रूवल का वादा किया था। पीड़ित द्वारा पैसे ट्रांसफर करने के बाद भी लोन नहीं मिला और बाद में उससे और पैसे न देने पर हिंसा और झूठे मामले में फंसाने की धमकी दी गई। पीड़ित और उसके रिश्तेदारों द्वारा दो आरोपियों, सादिक हसनैन और शोएब जफर को पकड़कर पुलिस को सूचित करने के बाद उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।
