Tejashwi Yadav Accuses Nitish Kumar of Derailing Bihar's Job Promises

Bihar LoP Tejashwi Yadav has accused former CM Nitish Kumar of stalling the state's recruitment drive by toppling the Mahagathbandhan government in January 2024. Yadav highlighted the distribution of over 1.2 lakh appointment letters in November 2023 as part of a plan to provide permanent government employment. He alleged that Nitish Kumar's move to the NDA, which he termed 'youth-oppressive,' halted proposals for over 1.3 lakh posts in a public health cadre. Yadav also claimed that demands for jobs after the government change were met with police action.
