Maoist Arms Cache and Crores of Money Unaccounted For, Says Researcher

Despite the defeat of Maoists, the whereabouts of a huge cache of arms and thousands of crores of rupees extorted from society remain unknown, according to LWE researcher P.V. Ramana. Speaking at the launch of his book in Hyderabad, he stressed the need for constant vigilance against the Maoist movement. Ramana also questioned the current rehabilitation policy for surrendered Maoists, highlighting concerns about monthly stipends lacking sufficient linkage to skill development and employment opportunities.
