Bengal Sacks Malda Hospital Officials After Infant Deaths

West Bengal's Health Department has sacked the top two officials of Malda Medical College and Hospital following the deaths of 89 infants in a single month. The MSVP (Super) Prosenjit Bor and the head of the paediatrics department, Sushma Shaw, were removed from their posts. This action comes after a recent inspection of the facility.

पश्चिम बंगाल के स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने मालदा मेडिकल कॉलेज और अस्पताल के दो बड़े अधिकारियों को नौकरी से निकाल दिया है। एक महीने में 89 नवजात शिशुओं की मौत के बाद यह कार्रवाई हुई है। एमएसवीपी (सुपर) प्रोसेनजीत बोर और बाल रोग विभाग की प्रमुख सुषमा शॉ को उनके पदों से हटा दिया गया है। हाल ही में अस्पताल के निरीक्षण के बाद यह फैसला लिया गया है।
