England is set to play their first ODI in Pakistan after a 21-year hiatus, with a white-ball series commencing on Tuesday. The last time the English team played an ODI in Pakistan was in 2005, during a five-match series. That series concluded on December 21, 2005, in Rawalpindi, where England secured a six-run victory in the final match. Pakistan had won the overall series 3-2. Currently, England is participating in a Tri-Nation ODI series in Pakistan alongside Sri Lanka.
