Seven Indian IT giants have been recognized among the top US employers for approved H-1B beneficiaries in FY2026. Tata Consultancy Services ranked second with 4,450 approvals, followed by Infosys at third with 4,113, and Cognizant at sixth with 3,510. However, five of these firms, including TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, and HCL, are now under scrutiny. The Trump administration has frozen some employment-based green card filings, impacting the PERM process, which requires employers to demonstrate that hiring foreign workers does not negatively affect US workers' wages or job opportunities.
