This figure includes a Rs 7.3-crore one-time equity grant, potentially raising his total pay to Rs 43.2 crore. Bagchi's fixed pay amounts to Rs 9 crore, with variable pay capped at Rs 26.9 crore, comprising cash and stock options. His appointment, approved by the RBI, begins for a three-year term. This compensation package is significantly higher than his previous role at ICICI Prudential Life.
