151 New IPS Officers, 16 Foreigners To Join Home Ministry Before Cadre Posting

For the first time, 151 probationary IPS officers from the 2025 batch, including 16 foreign nationals, will be attached to the MHA after completing their initial training. This initiative aims to provide them with exposure to central government operations before they proceed to their respective cadres for further training and deployment. The officers recently finished the first phase of training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad. A ceremony will be held in New Delhi to formally link this batch with the MHA.
