SEPC Shares Jump 11% After Securing Rs 855 Crore SAIL Contract

SEPC Limited's shares surged nearly 11% to an intraday high of Rs 5.47 after securing an Rs 854.57-crore contract with Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). The deal is for work at the IISCO Steel Plant in Burnpur, West Bengal, as part of SAIL's expansion programme. This new contract pushes SEPC's consolidated order book past Rs 10,000 crore, nearly ten times its market capitalisation. The project is scheduled for commissioning within 32 months.

SEPC Limited के शेयर लगभग 11% बढ़कर इंट्राडे में 5.47 रुपये पर पहुंच गए, क्योंकि उन्हें Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) के साथ 854.57 करोड़ रुपये का कॉन्ट्रैक्ट मिला है। यह डील पश्चिम बंगाल के बर्नपुर में IISCO Steel Plant में SAIL के विस्तार कार्यक्रम के तहत काम के लिए है। इस नए कॉन्ट्रैक्ट से SEPC की कंसोलिडेटेड ऑर्डर बुक 10,000 करोड़ रुपये से ऊपर चली गई है, जो इसके मार्केट कैपिटलाइजेशन से लगभग दस गुना है। प्रोजेक्ट को 32 महीनों के अंदर चालू करने की उम्मीद है।
