Mumbai Police Arrest One in Fake Surety Bail Case

Mumbai's Colaba police have arrested Jaffar Shaikh in connection with a fake surety bail case involving forged documents submitted to a Sessions Court. The documents were intended to secure bail for an accused in an MPID case. An interpreter attached to the Sessions Court filed the complaint. Shaikh allegedly produced forged asset certificates, purportedly issued by the Bhiwandi Tehsildar, along with other identity proofs. The court's verification revealed the documents were not issued by the Tehsildar's office, leading to the arrest.

मुंबई की कोलाबा पुलिस ने सेशंस कोर्ट में जाली दस्तावेज़ों के इस्तेमाल से जुड़े एक जाली ज़मानत मामले में जफ़र शेख को गिरफ्तार किया है। ये दस्तावेज़ MPID मामले के एक आरोपी की ज़मानत हासिल करने के लिए जमा किए गए थे। सेशंस कोर्ट से जुड़े एक दुभाषिए ने शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी। शेख पर कथित तौर पर भिवंडी तहसीलदार द्वारा जारी किए गए जाली संपत्ति प्रमाण पत्र और अन्य पहचान प्रमाण पेश करने का आरोप है। कोर्ट की जांच में पता चला कि ये दस्तावेज़ तहसीलदार के दफ़्तर से जारी नहीं किए गए थे, जिसके बाद गिरफ्तारी हुई।
