Rajasthan ASI Dies of Suspected Heart Attack During Promotion Test

An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, has died from a suspected heart attack while participating in a physical efficiency test for promotion. The 50-year-old officer, Durga Ram Bheel, had completed a two-kilometre run before complaining of severe chest pain and collapsing. He was rushed to a private hospital where doctors attempted CPR but were unsuccessful. This incident occurred just a day after another police officer died in a road accident in the same district. The deceased officer was posted at Girab police station in Barmer district.

राजस्थान के जोधपुर में प्रमोशन के लिए फिजिकल एफिशिएंसी टेस्ट में भाग लेते समय एक असिस्टेंट सब-इंस्पेक्टर (ASI) की संदिग्ध हार्ट अटैक से मौत हो गई। 50 वर्षीय अधिकारी दुर्गा राम भील ने दो किलोमीटर की दौड़ पूरी करने के बाद सीने में तेज दर्द की शिकायत की और गिर पड़े। उन्हें एक निजी अस्पताल ले जाया गया जहां डॉक्टरों ने सीपीआर देने की कोशिश की लेकिन वे सफल नहीं हुए। यह घटना उसी जिले में एक अन्य पुलिस अधिकारी की सड़क दुर्घटना में मौत के एक दिन बाद हुई। मृतक अधिकारी बाड़मेर जिले के गिराब पुलिस स्टेशन में तैनात थे।
