Reliance Retail Ventures reported a 24.5% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹2,619 crore for the September quarter, despite a 5.8% rise in revenue to ₹80,220 crore. Finance costs also surged by 53.9% due to higher borrowing and interest rates. Reliance Retail opened 303 new stores in the quarter, ending with a total of 19,947 stores.
